My name is Judy Djilipana, I am from the Guyula clan, my skin is Galikali and my homeland is called Badaybaday.

I learned from my mother Yalwidika, at a young age, when I was maybe 12 years old. It was down here at beach camp, back in the days in our old yellow house when she taught me weaving. We used miwana and gunga. This is when she was still alive. She also taught me all the dyes, yellow, purple, red etc. And I really like weaving baskets and still working on mat weaving skills.
